Church of the Living God wk. 19

God gave us wonderful weather for revival, the past Wednesday through Saturday evening.
Services were filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit, salvation, renewing of their dedication to the Lord, baptized in the Holy Spirit and healings. We praise God and His anointing on Bro. Comer’s teaching and the songs he ministered to us with.
Sunday services were wonderful. The revival isn’t over, we can and shall keep it in our hearts. We had many on our prayer requests: Reed family, Lorene M., Edwina S., Bill Bolding, Cindy S., unspoken requests, Bevy and special music.
We were treated with two songs by Gary, Bevy and Bro. Comer. It was a wonderful blessing. Gary, Dakota and Bill Comer sang also. This was a longtime dream of Dakota. Dakota is one our many wonderful young people. Several songs were performed by Linda R., Bevy, Lena and Betty H. They all sang together. Bevy also did a solo.
Sunday school was in Jeremiah 35-36 through Jeremiah and Baruch God is still warning Israel and Judah about the coming judgment to them. When King Jehoiakim heard what the rolls of God’s word said, He tore and burned them. The Lord hid Jeremiah and Baruch from the King and in verse 30, chapter 36 the Kings body would be cast into the street to lay there in the heat and the frost by night.
“God is a good God, but He means what He says.”
Sunday evening service was on “In God’s Time.” Sometimes God’s time is immediate and sometimes down the road. For Joseph there was slavery, prison, food commissioner, there was seven years of plenty, seven years of famine. Genesis 41:37-57 is an example of the down the road, his family was saved from starvation. In John 5:2 is one of the many “immediate responses, “In God’s Time.” A certain man had an infirmity for 30 years, unable to get the pool of Bethesda when the angel troubled the water. When Jesus saw the man he said to him, John 5:6-8, will thou be made whole? Rise, take up thy bed and walk, “Immediate Response.” We all have infirmities of some kind or another, but by coming to the Master, confessing and believing, God will care of us – In God’s Time.
Sunday evening we were blessed by the Green Mountain Messengers. They are wonderful God filled young people who are very talented and spiritual. They were enjoyed by all.
