We were glad to have our visitors Sunday. Please pray for all who are sick, the bereaved, lost, our country, military, churches and people traveling.
We sang happy birthday to Pastor David. Those having February birthdays are: Rick Bailey, Shirley Riley, Reece Adams, Donna Dodson and Jacob Strong.
We will be having a “Sweet On Jesus” party February 13 at 6:00 p.m. Bring your favorite sweet to eat and other finger foods to enjoy. We will have games and prizes for all ages.
Pastor David took up the tithes and offerings. Howard Strong helped Preston Adams do the penny march for Camp Piland.
We are so glad to have Dara Strong and boys in church and Bobby and Angie Turley back with us. We appreciate everyone that comes and helps us at Black Oak.
God gave Pastor David two good messages Sunday on “What Kind Of Christian Are You?” and on being committed to God to do the work we are supposed to do. Every Christian has something they can do. There are a lot of good and bad people headed for hell and it is our job to help them find Jesus before it is too late.
