Arno News wk. 19

I will be glad when it gets pretty out and everyone gets well and can get out and make it to church on Sunday.
Pat Miller, Marie Dickey and Carol Moore all went last Monday to Gainesville to their O.E.S. School of Instruction. Pat belongs to that chapter.
I went to Ozark to my niece, Brenda Henslee’s and stayed all night last Monday so I would be up there for my doctor appointment on Tuesday morning with Dr. Woods.
Mark came by Wednesday and brought me some eggs. I gave Martin his that night when we went to Bible study.
Thursday I had to go into town to mail a girlfriend a birthday card and some pictures. I worked with Joyce when I lived in Kansas City, when I started home I stopped by the nursing home and saw Pauline Schauffler, Roxie Heimeyer and Harold Bock before I came home.
Friday I went back to town and picked up a picture at the newspaper office that was in the Mountain Grove paper of Lola Long’s 99th birthday and I took it by Marie Dickey and showed it to her. Elvira Slater sent me a copy of it too.
Saturday I went and got my haircut and I went by Marie’s before I went to the beauty shop.
I dropped by the funeral home and viewed Dwayne Adam’s body before I came home.
Ruby and all the family have my prayer and sympathy and all the others who have lost a loved one.
Sunday night singing at Mt. Tabor Church was good, but there was sickness in the families, but the ones who made it was wonderful and the children was good too. If you had of been there you would have felt the Lord there.
Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers because the list just keeps piling up.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Marie Dickey and Carol Moore all went over to the El Rancho Truck Stop and Restaurant to the Jerry’s Whirl Winds Thursday night.
