Smallet wk. 18

Sunday morning service began with some instrumental music. We had prayer requests and prayer then welcoming and greeting everyone. Brother Cody Prock read a scripture then Brother Roberts brought the message from Matthew 9:27-30, “Expecting the Best In Life.”
Sunday evening service was our monthly singing and we enjoyed several specials and a lot of good instrumentals with guitars, banjo, fiddle, stand up bass, mandolin and piano.
Having dinner Sunday evening in the home of Bob and Nora Edwards, to celebrate the birthday of Shawn Swearengin were Shawn, Miranda, Alexis and Brandon, Toby and Jacinda Sheppard and Shelden and Kendra Walker.
I understand that Weldon Sanders and Leroy Melton are still in the hospital in Springfield. We are praying for their complete recovery.
My great granddaughter, Raylee Grace Burton, was in the ER on Saturday night but is home and doing okay now. Praise God for answered prayers.
Sunday was Lee Williams’ birthday and I cooked dinner for him and my mom, Nora Hunsaker after they attended church with us.
I talked to Uncle Hugh and Aunt Violet Morris and they are doing better. They said they had about six or seven inches of snow there. I asked Aunt Violet if she had any snow ice cream but they said it was too cold for them to get out to get the snow.
My youngest daughter and her family, Rusty and Becky Carter and kids have all been sick except Hailey. They had that junk of headache and congestion, but are better now.
Donna Bannister came down on Sunday evening and went to church with us then stayed and visited for a while.
Delmar and I stopped in and visited with my brother, Vern Deatherage one day last week.
Delmar and I met Jack, Barb and Miracle at Mc Donald’s for supper on Saturday.
Delmar and I visited with Gary and Bevy Moore and Chantelle Emmerson on Sunday afternoon.
Until next week, just stop and ask, “Will There Be any Stars in my Crown?”
