Claude Robertson visited with Tom and Jewell Johnson last week. Tom and Jewell have family members coming in giving them all kinds of help.
Norma Stillings had a colonoscopy in Springfield last Wednesday. That meant that all day Tuesday was spent getting ready for the procedure and all day Thursday recovering from the procedure. Norma’s daughter, Debra Bohnstedt, of Springfield spent time with Norma prior to the procedure. Her son, Dan Stillings, was there as driver. The most difficult part of the colonoscopy for Norma was having to drink the gallon of thick liquid. Still that is better than having a colon cancer grow without being detected.
Norma joined a group of retired teachers for lunch, Friday afternoon, at Subway. They tried to come up with some good program suggestions for upcoming RTA meetings.
