New Hope Freewill Baptist Church wk. 18

During Sunday morning services we had a pretty great turn out. We had 16 in attend morning services. We had some new visitors and want to welcome them back anytime. We started off our morning service with prayer and requests and then dismissed to our Sunday school classes. After Sunday school the children sang two songs for the congregation and then they had their penny march. We enjoyed singing hymns together and listening to testimonies. Bro. Scott delivered the morning message from the gospel of Luke 5:33-35, “Fasting To Become Closer To The Lord.” We were also blessed by having a young girl saved and would love for everyone to pray for her young soul, and the beginning of her work for the Lord.
During evening services we had a smaller crowd, but enormous spirit. We had 13 attend evening services. Bro. Lyndon had a bad case of the flu and we pray for a speedy recovery for him. We started out by singing hymns and went over our prayer list. Bro. Scott delivered a powerful message from the book of Malachi 3:16-18 titled “Writing A Book of Remembrance.” I think we should all be mindful of what we write in our book every day and what we will have to answer for. Did we magnify the Lord today and how we conducted our lives? Did we witness to someone lost? Were we charitable today? Were we mindful of God in everything that we did over the course of our day? I urge all to read that scripture.
We at New Hope want to invite anyone who is seeking the Lord to come worship with us. Worship times are Wednesday evening Bible study at 7 p.m., Sunday school at 10 a.m., morning worship at 11 a.m, and evening worship at 7 p.m
