It was a much nicer day for church on Sunday, though some of our congregation still suffer from the “bug”. Many in the community complain of it “hanging on”. Hopefully, everyone will recover shortly and be back in church, we miss each one. Sympathy to Lloyd Shumate in the loss of his sister, Wanda.
Brother Dennis used a familiar scripture for his lesson Sunday morning, “without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin”. We know Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves, he went to the cross.
Sunday evening at 6 we will have Brother Doug and Catrina Irwin as our musical guests, please join us if you can.
