Hope everyone enjoyed the snow and got to eat some snow ice cream. My grandkids joined hundreds of other kids and enjoyed the snow by staying home from school for a couple of days. They finally got enough snow to go sledding a little while. We didn’t have any snow ice cream this time. None of the kids ever mentioned it and I didn’t even think about it. I don’t know why I didn’t think about it, when my kids were at home I think I made at least three bowls a day every time there was snow.
Clarence and Shelly Rogers had a scary situation last week when their son, Dylan, was sick and had an episode where he couldn’t breathe well. They took off to the hospital in Branson with him and it got so bad on the way there he passed out. They stopped at the Taney County Courthouse and somebody called 911 for them. The first responders came and gave Dylan oxygen and then he was taken to Skaggs in an ambulance where he was treated. Clarence said he was sure the first responders and Skaggs Hospital saved Dylan’s life and he and Shelly were very grateful to them all.

There is another new baby in the area that I forgot to mention last week. Tammy Baird, his proud grandma, was at church Sunday and telling me about him. Fisher Alan Baird was born Friday, Jan.7th at 8:28 pm. He weighed 7lbs.14 oz. and was 20 ½ inches long. He is the son of Tammy’s daughter, Shannon. I saw pictures of him on Facebook and he sure is a handsome little guy. Fisher has a proud bigger brother, Hunter.
