I talked with Bonnie Phipps and she said she didn’t make it to church this Sunday, but she did last Sunday.
Carol Moore came by last Monday and picked me up and then we went on over to Marie Dickey’s and we went over to the lodge hall where we had our O.E.S. meeting.
As I took my news in last Monday I stopped by the nursing home and saw Pauline Schauffler.
I drove to Ozark last Tuesday and met Monica and we went by Donna Fleetwood’s and gave them their Christmas gifts and carrot cake then we went on to Springfield to my doctor appointment.
When we got back to Ozark we stopped by and saw Liz Bailey, but she was asleep and the nurse said that she sleeps all the time She only stays awake long enough to eat and they have to feed her but she eats good. I took her carrot cake too.
George and Violet Blakey dropped by Wednesday and visited a while.
I went by the nursing home Wednesday afternoon and saw Pauline and then I went by Marie Dickey’s and then I dropped some eggs off for Kay at the newspaper before coming home. When the snow ended Thursday I had three inches and I melted the snow in the rain gage and it totaled three tenths of an inch.
Mark and Mark Weston came by with some more eggs Friday. That evening Johnathan, Annie and little Alishia came and visited a while and I had made Johnathan a pea salad for his birthday, which was Friday.
Alishia had her eyes wide open so Johnathan took some pictures of her for me.
Tom and Donna came by Saturday and picked up Mae Cox’s eggs and I took some eggs over to Mary Ann Hathcock when I went to town so that Ruby Smith and I could go to Ozark to the Stained Glass Theatre in the afternoon and we saw “The Praying Man.” It was a wonderful show for everyone to see and it goes until February 12.
Sunday after church I went over to Anita Smith’s where they had Johnathan a birthday dinner and I went and ate with them. Those present were Johnathan, Annie, Alishia, Chase, Michika, Blythe, Chesnea, Ellis, Marsha, Judy, Shannan, Jaylin, Anita and Hellen.
Lets keep all those prayers going for all our sick folks. My prayers and sympathy go out to all who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
