We have a small Women’s Prayer Group, which meets each Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. and we would be pleased as punch if more ladies would come and turn it into a Large Women’s Prayer Group, all are welcome.
This Lord’s Day we took our text and our message from Jeremiah 2:13 and Psalm 37. Regrettably it is very easy to see the similarities between those mentioned in Bible times as having, “forsaken God, the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water” and the world we live in today.
Our evening message came from Acts 4:31-37, with our focus on the question of the Christian life, “Should our lives be based on custom or conviction?” The life of a Christian should be grounded in the conviction and witness of the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord.
