During Wednesday evening Bible study we had a good discussion. We went over rules for a happier marriage, outlined by the Bible. We had 11 attend Bible study.
During Sunday morning services we had 13 attend. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Clark family in their times of loss. We had prayers requests to start out the morning. God always knows our needs and has really blessed us with answered prayers. After Sunday school the children sang for us before doing their penny march. Our morning message was delivered by Bro. Scott out of I Timothy 2:1-8 “He is worthy of our praise.” In this book the apostle Paul writes to Timothy with instructions on prayer. Verse 8 reads, “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” Paul’s purpose in these epistles was for sound doctrine to be established in the church.
Sunday evening we started out with prayer requests and then sang some songs and praises to the Lord. Our wonderful and powerful message delivered by Bro. Scott was also out of I Timothy, but was chapter 6:3-10, “Danger in loving money.” It is easy for people to get caught up in finances, but we should never forget what our first and true love should be: God. I Timothy reads, “for we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.”
We would like to invite all to come worship with us. Worship times are as follows: Wednesday night Bible discussion at 7 p.m. and Sunday school at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m. and Sunday evening worship at 7 p.m.
