Motor Carrier Credentials Training Offered

JEFFERSON CITY – To help commercial motor carriers comply with license plate, fuel tax, authority and other programs, the Missouri Department of Transportation is offering seminars on keeping required credentials up-to-date.

In Jefferson City, the seminar will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011 at the MoDOT Motor Carrier Services Office, 1320 Creek Trail Drive. Other sessions are scheduled around the state and the dates and locations can be found at http://www.modot.org/mcs/TrainingOutreach.htm.

The classes explain the training, paperwork and other requirements truck drivers and their companies must fulfill to comply with laws and international agreements.

Reservations are limited to independent motor carrier operators or full-time employees of a motor carrier. Sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
