Larry Dean Ellison, 63, of Parkville, Mo., passed away Jan. 14, 2011, at his home.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Elaine Ellison; two children, Crystal Barnhart and Derek Ellison; one grandchild, Taylor Barnhart; his mother Emogene Jenkins; two sisters, Robin and Ronda Denny; and five brothers, Rickey, Joe, Roger, Jim, and Bo Denney.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernie and Jewel Ellison; and uncle Jim Ellison.
Larry retired from Santa Fe Railroad after 42 years of service.
His friends and family will hold a “Celebration of Life” at Brock’s Bar and Grill, 6541 N. Cosby Ave, Kansas City, on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society.
