Gentryville wk. 17

I will try and jot a bit of news this Monday morning. Last week was such a cold week and not much going on.
Chris Hartzell had dinner and visited last Saturday with her grandma, Ann Collins.
Janet and Katlyn Smith visited after school Monday evening with Agnes Williams.
Trish Russell visited awhile Thursday evening with me.
Lucy Daughterty, (my step-daughter-in-law) of Spring Hill, Tennessee called Wednesday and she and Olivia had been in a slide off, they were lucky just bumps and bruises.
There were only 15 at church Sunday, but we had a good service. Terry Sparks was a visitor. Junior Shelton gave a birthday offering. Bro. Dwayne’s message was from the 27th chapter of Matthew where Pilate asked, “What shall I do with Jesus, which is called Christ?”
Karen and Doug Frederick had dinner Sunday with Bertha and Dean Scherer.
Ann Collins and I visited awhile Sunday evening with Agnes Williams. She hadn’t felt like going to church.
Get-well wishes to the ones in the hospital and rest homes.
Shelby Hutchison had a birthday the 9th. Lauryn Snodgrass will be two on the 22nd. Doug Frederick has a birthday on the 27th.
The two-year anniversary of my husband’s passing is coming up later this month and I found this quote and though how true it is; when someone you love becomes a memory the memory becomes a treasure.
Until next time, God bless and stay warm. Oh yes, enjoy the snow.
Lets all remember the ones in the terrible tragedy at Tucson.
