Church of the Living God wk. 17

Wednesday, January 12, Bible study was led by Steve Wilkerson. He talked about the “The Great Commandment – Love, Charity, Christian love, Agape, the love of God or Christ for mankind, the brotherly or spiritual love of one Christian for another.”
The Old Testament has twenty scriptures with love in them and the New Testament has sixty-one, according to my concordance. John 15:12 God commands us to love one another as He has loved us.
Prayer requests were for Ruby Graham, family of Bevy, family of Evelyn, Bill Bolding, Edwina, Ray Hake, Dale B. and Wayne A.
We closed our meeting with prayer.
Sunday morning – Bro. Steve had Sunday school class as Linda and Max were somewhere in Kansas. Good job, Bro. Steve.
Prayer requests were for Bill Bolding, Dean Ridenour, Wayne and Donna, Norma’s grandson and Dorsey Huffman family.
The morning message was given by Rev. Don Graham. He read scripture from Luke 12:13-21, Romans 5:10 and Revelations 20:1. We all can come up with excuses for about anything, but standing before God, that don’t amount to anything. We always enjoy having Bro. Don preaching.
We are looking forward to our revival January 26 at 7 p.m. We are expecting a big move from God and spirit filled services. Come and join us every evening you can and bring God with you too.
Bro. Gary gave us a little mini sermon after the singing, which was, John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, the life, no one comes to the Father, but through me.” Jesus is the only way!
Our young people, regulars and “some what” guests did a grand job with their singing. They are enjoyed so much.
If God can’t bless it, leave it alone!
