Joe Lafferty opened Sunday school with the reading of the 75th Psalm. Bro. Lee Hampton led the opening prayer. Bro. Lee Hampton also taught our adult class lesson in the 5th chapter of Mark. Wilma Hampton had questions and answers. She had had that sinus and cold virus. We also asked questions for the next Sunday. Susie Sisco asked the offering prayer. We had a good crowd this Sunday. Some are getting over sickness. We sang congregational songs and Sue Sisco sang.
At the 11 o’clock service Joe Lafferty preached in Mark the 3rd chapter and the 13th verse and led in prayer, Following Jesus Where He Leads Us, and Obeying His Will. Roy Hampton dismissed in prayer.
The evening service started with congregational singing. Joe Lafferty, Clara Lafferty, June Durden and Susie Sisco sang. Sue Thomas played for us. Jessie Lafferty gave us a short message on I John, chapter 1. Also Roy Hampton read Matthew 24:7 and commented on that. Joe Lafferty talked on Matthew 7:21, when Jesus tells us to do something, we better do it.
We had an altar service to pray for the lost and men and women in the service of our country.
The Lord still answers prayers. Jessie Lafferty dismissed us in prayer. God bless, until next time.
