“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me, “ Psalm 51:10.
Brother Roy read I Kings 8:33-40 for the devotion after congregational singing.
We had testimonies and Pastor David sang for the special.
We missed several who were out.
Pastor David preached from Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8. We live in a changing world, but God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. We need to read, believe, and trust God’s word. It does not change either.
Please pray for the Larry Case family, Betty’s sister, Mike Jones, Weldon Sanders, Glenn and Louise Simpson, unspoken, unsaved, all bereaved, military, country, leaders, church and people traveling.
Kerry and Dana Lafferty sang a special in the evening worship. Pastor David sang then preached from Psalm 51:1. People look at sin differently, but to God sin is sin. David committed adultery and murder. Most people, Christians or not, would agree these are wrong. David loved God and knew he had broken his relationship with Him and that he must ask for forgiveness. We can’t hide sin or pretend it didn’t happen. We have to take responsibility for what we do or say. We have to take our relationship with God serious. He needs us to help Him.
We are still in Revelations on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
The Fourth Sunday Night Singing will be at 6 p.m. with finger food fellowship at 5 p.m. for Pastor David’s birthday.
Sister Kerry Adams is working on our 2011 activity calendar. We appreciate all her help and everyone in the church. It takes all of us to build God’s kingdom.
May God bless you always.
