Sunday morning service opened with welcoming a new addition to our church family, Little Mister Aaron Michael Hampton, He is such a beautiful (handsome) little fellow. Congratulations Mike and Regina.
Prayer requests were given then prayer.
Special song was wonderfully done by Sister Joyce Erickson.
The morning message was brought by Brother Roberts from Philippians 3:12-14, “Motivated to Press on in 2011.”
We congratulate Jack and Betty Singleton on their celebration of 60 years of marriage. They were featured on channel 3 T.V. Friday evening. Jack is the brother of Max Singleton and wife, Pauline, who have been like family to us all of our life. We talked with Max and Pauline by phone and found that Pauline had another light stroke last week but is home now. We hope you are doing better now, Pauline, so you can keep Max in line.
Those spending Christmas Eve with us were Gary and Bevy Moore, Keith and Donna Bannister, Becky, Hailey and Maeson Carter, Shawn, Summer and Caidence Johnson, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams.
Sandy Cleghorn stopped by one day and got the Black Walnut fudge that I made just for her. She brought us a bag of delicious apples. We appreciate Sandy.
On Sunday evening, Mack Miller, Bob and Linda McCleary visited with Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams and Delmar and me.
I have visited with Aunt Violet Morris by phone every day and Uncle Hugh is not doing really good the last couple of days. Get better Uncle Hugh.
Until next week remember to be ready to do all that God asks you to do and say, “Here I Am.”
