Sunday service was opened with prayer, praise and welcoming.
The special song was done by Bill and DeDe Arington and Candy Lane.
Morning message was brought by Brother Roberts from Luke 2:18-24, “Where is the line to see Jesus? The true gift of Christmas is Christ. Keep Christ in Christmas.”
Gathering at the Pizza Hut for lunch and afternoon of visiting were cousins, Jerry and Suanne Sutherland, Clo Ella Levernz, Nora Edwards, Carl and Betty Atwood, Frank Williams, Bill and Mary Lou Hodges and Raymond and Naida Haden.
Nora Edwards visited on Thursday with Adrian and Jim Owens, Doyne and Dorsey Huffman, Tom, Jewell and Lowell Johnson, Miranda and Alexis Swearengin. Nora and Maxine Lund enjoyed having lunch together.
Shawn, Miranda and Alexis Swearengin had supper on Friday with Bob and Nora Edwards. Others visiting during the week were Toby and Jacinda Sheppard, Doyne Huffman, Mary Mackey, Shelden Walker, Ryan Breshears, Richelle Shelton and friend Misty.
Having supper in our home on Saturday evening were Vern and Kathleen Deatherage. They also visited with Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams the same evening.
On Monday, Lee Williams was taken to the hospital by ambulance where he underwent a procedure to put in three stints and will have to undergo another session of that for the other side of his heart. He is doing good and should get to come home on Wednesday.
Delmar and I attended the graveside service for his sister, Goldie Sutherland on Saturday.
Delmar is busy as usual, with his hammer and nails.
Delmar and I visited with Keith and Donna Bannister on Monday morning.
