Sandy Church News wk. 16

Our prayer chain was called this week for Veronica and Miracle.
As we came together on our Lord’s Day, we read our devotional from Exodus 15.
Many prayer requests were shared for sick and hurting people, lost loved ones, our nation, troops and leaders.  LeaAnn Crum prayed this prayer.
Happy birthday was sung to Elane Crum.
Several testimonies were shared giving praise to the Lord.  Van Menzies prayed our offertory prayer as he and Stan Humbyrd received our Lord’s tithes and offerings with LeaAnn at the piano.
Pastor Neal greeted everyone with “good morning”.  He said in 15 minutes a day we could read our Bible through again this year.  He read from Matthew 9 and Luke 1 where Elizabeth’s neighbors and family rejoiced with her for the Lord showed great mercy unto her.
We were dismissed in prayer by Jim Harris, who also asked our blessing on our noon meal.
A fellowship dinner followed at noon.  We had a good lunch of vegetables, fruits and grains.  The dessert table did not look as usual since the Daniel Fast does not include sweets, breads and meats.
Backpack items were collected for Plainview School.
Our 6 p.m. service began with prayer by Pastor Neal followed by singing.
Several testimonies were given with prayer requests and praises shared.
Special music was by LeaAnn and Erin Crum.  Pastor Neal talked about the birds falling out of the sky and fish dying in the water.  Strange things are happening, but Jesus is our hope, rest and sustainer.  Keep the faith and lift up our heads for our redemption draweth nigh.
We were dismissed in prayer by Billy Hodges.
Tuesday at 7 p.m. is our special prayer time.
Wednesday at 7 p.m. is our Bible study.  Come and worship with us.  You are welcome.
