Several prayer concerns were shared. Among those were Weldon, Joe, Veronica, Lonnie, Carol, Bonita tornado victims, Eddie, Melissa’s grandpa, Marie Long and the names in our book on the altar. Doyle Humbyrd prayed this prayer. We sang happy birthday to Melissa Dalton.
Brad Siler and Aaron Dalton received our Lord’s tithes and offerings. Testimonies were shared giving praise to our Lord. Pastor Neal challenged us to read our Bible through again this year. He shared about our Daniel Fast for 21 days and read from Matthew 6, Isaiah 58 and Luke 1.
Food Harvest items were collected for the Heart of the Hills Food and Thrift Store.
At 6 p.m., we began with singing then Erin Crum and Abby Dobbs sang with LeaAnn Crum at the piano. The younger children sang with the help of Stan and Kim Humbyrd, the children church leaders. Testimonies were shared about our good God. Pastor Neal read from 1 Kings 19. The angel ask Elijah, “what are you doing here?” Let us ask ourselves, “what are we doing here”?
Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer time.
Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible study in Genesis.
Next Sunday will be our fellowship dinner and backpack items for Plainview School will be collected and delivered.
