Not a lot has been going on the past couple of weeks.
Last week Dick Richards met his cousins, Randy and Max Utchman in Fordland, MO. They all went to see Chester Utchman in the Mt. Vernon hospital. He has been there for some time. After leaving there they drove to Marshfield to see their mother, Mildred Utchman in a nursing home. They had a good visit with Chester and Mildred.
One evening we went to Plainview School for family night with the kids. Brenda and the staff did a good job showing them and their families a fun evening.
Dick and I visited with Helen Dobbins a couple of times lately. We took her some soup and pumpkin bread last week. She is doing good. She just gets out to see the doctor, maybe by spring she will be able to get out more. That may seem like a long time away, but as fast as time goes by, it won’t be long.
We had very little rain this past week. We had very cold weather this morning. It is the time of year for winter weather, well into December. Christmas is almost here.
Cody Richards and Braxton were here over the weekend and visited with me.
Tony Richards and I were in town and Springfield Friday. I had a doctor’s appointment.
Betty Bricker visited me one day last week. She isn’t feeling too well. She will go to the doctor today.
My sympathy to the family of Goldie Sutherland. She went to heaven last Friday. She was a sweet, loving person. I have known her all my life and all of her famil
