Red Bud News wk. 16

A good snow and cold Tuesday morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and good weekend.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.
Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
I, Norma Jones, appreciate all the prayers, phone calls, cards and any act of kindness in the loss of my sister, Evelyn Rae Hake from Springfield. Friends seem to make time pass and the day easier to bear.
On Saturday afternoon several friends and neighbors got together in the home of Jan and Ray Nute for a wonderful time of visiting and reminiscing the past. A bountiful meal was served by the ladies. By the way, Ray, the pasta salad was great. I, Norma Jones, enjoyed being a part of the group. A great time was had by all. I am looking forward to the next get together. Those visiting Norma Jones this past week were Bud, Peggy, Ralissa, Lane, Naomi, Jerry Lee and Kim Watkins, Ellis and Emmalyn Stephens, Chuck Springs and Derek and Christina. Naomi and Jacob Watkins came after Norma on Thursday to go to Springfield for the visitation of Evelyn. Friday Bud and family stopped by and took Norma back to Springfield for the funeral at Green Lawn North.
Have a good week and stay warm. If you have news, just let us know.
Jesus loves you.
