A good Tuesday morning to all our readers. Another holiday has passed and the next one is to come then a new year will be here.
We hope everyone had a safe and good weekend. The weather was somewhat warmer and the wind not so strong, but still cold.
We send get-well wishes to the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.
Our sympathy to all who have lost a loved one. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
We send birthday greetings to all who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come.
This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Kathy Coats visited Lois on Wednesday then on Thursday Randall and Pamela Graham came. I appreciate all the gifts and goodies. It sure was good to see Deloris Dougherty up and about after her day of out patient surgery. Keep her in your prayers. There seems to be so much sickness.
No other news turned in so here I go again.
Visitors of Norma Jones last week were Peggy and Lane Watkins on Wednesday. They were back on Thursday to take Grandma shopping to get more things for Christmas. In the afternoon I attended the funeral of Zora Fitzgerald, a long time friend. On Friday I spent the day in the home of Jerry Lee, Kim and Derek Watkins. We were joined by Cody, Christina and Stephinie. A great time was had by all. On Sunday afternoon I “Norma” went to the farm with Naomi to share the afternoon with the girls and Jacob for my birthday. Sunday night we went to Miss Peggy’s for a great time of visiting and exchanging some gifts. All enjoyed an evening meal before the gifts. Monday I stayed with Jacob while Naomi worked. Amy and Miss Peggy were in Ava at the dentist on Monday morning as Amy had a tooth pulled. Naomi brought me home Monday night. I had a great weekend.
If you have news, just let us know. Hope everyone has a great new years and may the new year be the best one ever for each and everyone. Until next week, stay warm and healthy.
