A good Tuesday morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a great weekend.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.

We say a big happy birthday to all who have a birthday at this time. My oldest son, Arlen Watkins, is in this group.
On Friday night we had a game time to bring in the new year at the activity room for the residents and their families. There was twenty-three present. A good time was had by all and lots of snacks for all to enjoy. Those attending were Laura, Rob, Trey, Audra, Paul and Joshua Weddle, Nancy, Chuck and Kathryn McGhehey, Wayne and Linda Suits, Charles and Carolyn Robinson, Ellis and Emmalyn Stephens, Edna Frye, Deloris Dougherty, Verla Hallmark, Lila R. Kerr, Debra Caudill, Heather David, Kathy Lay and Norma Jones.
This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. I appreciate all my visitors that have been here since I came home from the hospital. They are Connie Sherrill, Lois Graham, Evelyn Witchey, Earnestine Martin, Ed Hall, Tammy Gunter and grandson, Evan Mitchell, Norma Jones, Larry and Wanda Hutchinson, Geneive McCollough and grandson, Jackie Nelson, Paulette Waggle, Mr. and Mrs. Isarel Flores of Houston, Texas. I appreciate all the goodies. On Thursday, Becky Willis and her daughter, Jessica and her granddaughter, Abigail, visited with Fae. They live at Marshfield, MO.
Visitors of Norma Jones this past week have been Peggy, Lane, Ralissa, Steven, Jacob, Jerry Lee and Kim Watkins, also, Misty and two children, Tessa Huff, Derek and Christina.
Thursday we made pies and candy for our get together at the farm on Saturday for our Christmas party. Arlen and Peggy Watkins came on Saturday and took me to the farm then back home at night.
On Sunday afternoon I, Norma Jones, got quite a shock as Naomi came to let me know that my sister, Evelyn Rae “Greene” Hake had passed away. She lived in Springfield, but was raised at West Dogwood in early years.
On Monday the tenth, we will have our board meeting and elect two board members. One dollar for yearly dues per person to vote for all residents and outsiders.
