Rainbow Ridge News wk. 16

R.E. Helsley of Mansfield and Gary Emrick of Ava visited with Tom and Jewell Johnson last week. The family comes in all the time and are very good to help Tom and Jewell with everything from providing good food to taking them to doctor visits. Their son, Lowell Johnson, is still staying with them.
Carl and Joan Fletcher of Bois D’Arc visited with Billy Fletcher last week.
Sam Frye talked with his sisters, Lena Sears in Rockford, Illinois, Hester Ranick in Rochelle, Illinois, and Maxine Levan in Bettendorf, Iowa. Sam said that they are doing well.
Sam and his son and daughter-in-law, Rod and Pat Frye, of Illinois made a trip to Texas to visit with the families of his daughters, Nancy Hooten and Chris King, during the week after Christmas. Rod and Pat then drove to Kansas City to spend New Year’s Day with some of her family there.
Sam is doing the regular things and is happy to be in church and Sunday school. He makes trips to Springfield for doctor appointments and all seems to be going well.
Norma Stillings made her usual visits at the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center. She completed and turned in the 2010 Financial Report and 2011 budget for the Support the Handicapped Board to the Douglas County Clerk. She also worked on Financial Reports for the Douglas County Community Health Assistance Resource Team.
