Billy Fletcher went out to the home of Charlie Lindberg on New Year’s Day. Billy’s brother, Donald Fletcher, of Fair Grove visited with him, Monday.
Tom Stillings and Joyce Greenwood of Ozark, Harlan and Cathy Lupton of Billings, Cliff and Debra Bohnstedt of Springfield and Stanley Stillings of Squires had lunch with Norma, Dan, and Alan Stillings on New Year’s Day. This was a combined Christmas and New Year’s celebration.
Norma Stillings had an Amaryllis in bloom Christmas Day and the week after. A new blossom opened for New Year’s Day, and there is a large bud that will open soon. There were a few blossoms on a Christmas Cactus and there are violets in an east window. The reward for watering and feeding plants all year is the joy of having blooms in the middle of winter.
