We enjoyed a crisp, Lord’s Day at Oak Grove this 2nd day of the New Year. Our morning message was “Grass and Grain” from the parable in the 13th chapter of Matthew, about the “tares in the wheat.” The point being that we are not to engage in pulling tares, instead we are to be husbandmen of the wheat.
Our evening message was, “A Trial of Faith” from the text of I Peter with an emphasis on the trials of our faith and how they strengthen us and “purify” the metal of our resolve to serve our fellowman as well as our Savior.
We extend an invitation to one and all to come and join us in worship and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. We will try to make you feel at home.
