This Lord’s Day was a windy, winter day, but the warmth of Christian fellowship made it a wonderful day in the Lord.
Our morning message came from Luke 1:26-38 and our focus was on the “Preparations” that were made for the coming of the Lord. We make extensive and elaborate preparations for Christmas Day each year, in remembrance of His first coming. The question then is are we making the proper preparations for His “soon” future coming. Are you prepared to meet Him?
After morning services we had lunch and proceeded into a dress rehearsal, practice for our upcoming Christmas program, which will take place next Sunday evening, December 19, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Come join us in remembering Christ’s birth.
Also we are going to meet at Oak Grove Church at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, to go caroling. If you like to sing Christmas carols, come along.
