New Hope Freewill Baptist Church – wk. 13

During Sunday morning services we had 13 in attendance. We took prayer requests and then dismissed to our Sunday school classes. The adults studied Matthew chapter 16 and the children’s class learned about the true meaning of Christmas. After Sunday school the children handed out homemade Christmas cards they made for the congregation. They were beautiful cards. Then they sang some songs and had their penny march. We all then joined together and sang praises. Bro. Scott then delivered the morning message from the book of Habbakuk 3:16-19 and Luke 2:1-14, “Tis The Season For Salvation.” Everyday that we awake we should rejoice in our Lord’s birth. It was through Him living and through His death that we are all able to obtain mercy. Presents are nice, but how many people do you think honestly stop to thank God for sending His son, Jesus Christ, to live and die for us?
During evening services we had 13 in attendance. We had prayer requests and sang songs. The evening message was delivered by Bro. Scott from I Corinthians 3:18-23, “The Wisdom of the World vs. the Wisdom of God.”
We are having a Christmas singing at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23 here at New Hope and would like to invite all to come and sing songs with us. We would also like to invite you to our services. Service times are Wednesday night Bible study at 7:00 p.m., Sunday school at 10:00 a.m., morning worship at 11:00 a.m. and Sunday evening services at 7:00 p.m.
We hope everyone has a blessed Christmas!
