Mt. Tabor Church wk. 16

We had a cold and windy day Sunday, people still out with the bug, but we continue to carry on. We appreciate the faithful ones that are always there. There are so many on our prayer list, friends, family, church families, especially the lost.
Brother Dennis read from Ephesians and Luke, speaking about being defeated, spiritually. Sometimes we do get very discouraged but we must remember that we are never in the battle alone.
The congregation wants to send out a Happy Birthday wish for Brother Norman Duckworth, on January 14, we miss you.
The 5th Sunday this month we will have Brother Doug and Catrina Irwin as our special music, come and be with us.
Tom and Rosie Harris visited Bessie Hall one day recently, bringing some goodies from their kitchen. Jewell Elliott, J.C. Hall, Lisa Johnson and Jesse and Richard and Lisa Mitchell were also visitors with Bessie this week.
Martin Hathcock visited Harold and Kay Hutchison Saturday.
Pat Lansdown took her mother, Myrl Cox, grocery shopping Friday. Later in the day, she visited with her sister, Jeanne Cox. Glad to hear Paul Cox was well enough to come down to see his mom.
Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Elliott and children visited Tom and Jewell Elliott Sunday night.
Tom and Jewell visited Albert and Doris Elliott last Friday night.
Jewell Elliott visited Harold and Kay Hutchison Friday morning, bringing gifts when she came.
Mae Cox’s visitors this past week were Tim and Lindsey Hall, Lauren and Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Nichols, Lisa Johnson and Jesse. Mae talked to her family in Texas and Springfield by phone.
