Fondly known as “Aunt Marie” to 17 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews, Marie leaves a legacy of strength, courage, humor, and love. We’ll miss you Aunt Marie!
Dear Aunt Marie, we cherish you
Without you here, what will we do?
For 97 years on earth you did live
And to each & every one of us you did give.
You gave us strength when we felt weak
And many a secret you did keep
Lord knows you told us just what you thought
Whether we wanted to hear it or not.
A Cardinal fan, true and blue
The games won’t be the same without you.
You amazed us with your keen mind and wit
You made us laugh till our sides did split.
But most of all you gave us love
And expect you still will from up above.
As an Angel now you are free to fly
Till we meet again, in the sweet by and by.
