Sunday school opened with a big hello from Bro. Paul who was filling in for Bro. Marshall. Prayer requests were given and there were many. Prayer was led by Sister Mary. We sang a song for Jesus. Our Sunday school leader for today was Sister Naomi. She used Acts 7:38-60 for our lesson. We had some class discussion. Good job, Naomi. We sang happy birthday to Sister Mary and took up our Coins for Christ. We sang some good hymns and the choir was in good voice. Bro. Paul wished everyone a happy new year. We had specials from the congregations. Bro. Paul read scripture from Matthew 4:1-17 and then prayed. He gave us a good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and Sister Ulla dismissed with prayer.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. We had many prayer requests. Bro. Norman led in prayer. We sang for the Lord. We had specials from Sister Peggy and Sister Ulla. We were happy to have Bro. Mike and Sister Lucy Jones with us this evening. This is the beginning of a new year. Get your life right with God and you will be blessed.
