Brrrrrr!! What a cold morning and with the wind it seems like the North Pole. I guess it could be worse, so let us be thankful that it isn’t.
We had our Christmas dinner and fellowship Saturday night. We had lots of good food and a good time was had by all.
Bro. Marshall opened Sunday school with a good morning to all. We sang a song for Jesus and Bro. Marshall asked for prayer requests. Many were given. Prayer led by Sister Ulla. Bro. Marshall read scripture from I Peter 1:4-5. Classes took their places. Our leader for today, Sister Lee read from Acts 5:12-35. It was an interesting passage. You did a good job, Sister Lee. Our gifts were collected and blessed by Sister Mary. Even the cold and wind didn’t keep our little angel away. She was there to take up our Coins For Christ.
Our morning service began with singing hymns for the Lord. We sang Christmas hymns and everyone seemed to be in good voice. Bro. Paul greeted all with a great good morning. We had more prayer requests. We had some specials by Bro. Marshall, Sister Peggy, Sister Sharon and Sister Patsy.
Bro. Paul read scripture from II Timothy 4:1-5. Bro. Paul prayed. Bro. Paul gave us a great message from God. We closed with a song and dismissed with prayer by Sister Sharon.
Our evening service began with our circle of prayer. We had many prayer requests for our church, family, friends, the lost and each other. Sister Peggy led in prayer.
We sang for the Lord and had specials from Bro. Marshall and Sister Peggy. Bro. Paul read scripture from Ezekiel 18:19-28. Bro. Paul prayed and then gave us a good message from the Lord. We had an altar of prayer that closed our service.
