Last Weeks News – Greetings on this cold Monday morning. I am hoping all had a good Christmas. I appreciate the Herald staff for the Christmas gift.
A nephew, Gary Leroy, of Chanute, Kansas came on Monday and visited until Wednesday with me, also, a step-son, Pat Daugherty and granddaughter, Olivia of Spring Hill, Tennessee came by while on Monday.
Gary Leroy and I visited awhile Tuesday night with Bertha and Dean Scherer.
Agnes Williams, Karen and Doug Fredrick visited awhile Thursday night with Ann Collins and Bertha and Dean Scherer. River Stillwood was also visiting Bertha and Dean Scherer awhile that night.
My daughter, Patty Stephens of Galena came and got me on Thursday evening and I stayed until Sunday with her and Joe, on Christmas Day Aaron Chambers of Springfield, Josh, Sandy and Carter Chambers, Highlandville joined us for our gift exchange and dinner. Later Christmas evening Tracy, David, Hannah and Devin Griffith came for a while.
Carol Wise and Riley O’Shea of Springfield spent from Thursday until Sunday with Ann Collins. Chris Hartzell and a friend, Myron, joined them for Christmas dinner, also Bertha Scherer, Karen and Ted Collins, Melissa, Autumn, Brian and Blaine visited a while Christmas Day.
Sirena, Jared, Cole and Isabell Bradshaw spent Christmas Eve night with Karen and Doug Fredrick, joining them for dinner Christmas Day, were Agnes Williams, Bertha and Dean Scherer, Janet, Paul and Katlyn Smith.
Agnes Williams, Ella May Daugherty and Bertha Scherer had lunch Monday with Ann Collins.
I saw in last weeks paper where Shirley Hancock is in the rest home in Ava. Get well wishes to her and all others who are sick.
