Church started Sunday morning by singing. Ronnie Epps took over as superintendent. Prayer was given by Bro. James Moore.
Sunday school lesson was, Jesus The Bread of Life, John 6:32-34 and 41-44 and 66-69.
After a good Sunday school lesson we sang several songs. Prayer was given by Bro. Woodrow Coonce. Special music was performed by Ivona Pierson, Lena Ingram, Aaliyah Irby, Elsie Atchison, Woodrow Coonce and Bro. Raymond Haden. Bro. Raymond Haden brought the message. He read James 4:14, Matthew 7:24-29 and Matthew 25:14-45. After a good message we sang and were dismissed by Bro. Woodrow Coonce.
Church started Sunday night with prayer by Bro. Marvin Loftin. We sang several songs. Specials were performed by Lena Ingram, Elsie Atchison, Ivona Pierson, James Moore, Marvin Loftin and Raymond and Naida Haden. Bro. Raymond Haden brought the message. He prayed then read Titus 2:11-15, Romans 8:24-25, I Thess. 4:13-18, II Thess. 2:16-17, Hebrews 6:18-20, I Peter 1:3, I John 3:1-2 and John 15:3. After a good message we sang.
It was birthday and anniversary celebration night. We only had one birthday in January. It was Aaliyah Irby’s and she wasn’t present, but we sang happy birthday for her anyway. We were dismissed by Bro. Ronnie Epps then had a great fellowship dinner.
Those visiting Elsie Atchison Wednesday were Gary Atchison, Lena and Peyton Ingram and Lori Grider. Gary took his mother, Elsie, to the doctor in Springfield Wednesday. Deanna Young and Jade Atchison met them and they had lunch together.
