Wednesday evening Bible study was led by Steve Wilkerson. The subject was, “Intercessary Prayer”. Scriptures were II Timothy 2:15, Genesis 3:8-11, Psalm 27:4, Luke 10:38-42, I Kings 19:9-13, I Samuel 3:1-10, Luke 6:46-49. The homework given was to spend an hour just listening to and thinking about God and to take one day to pray without ceasing all day.
Friday, Christmas Eve, Pastor Gary and Bevy visited and had celebrations in the homes of grandparents – Lee and Nora Hunsaker-Williams, parents – Delmar and Margaret Rosseau, daughters – Jerry and Lana Heard and Randy and Tabith Burton and Raylee Grace and Caydee.
Saturday, Christmas, Bevy was sick all day with the stomach flu. Those visiting in the home of Pastor Gary and Bevy was son, Clint Moore.
Sunday morning we had 30 in attendance. Special singing was by Lena Hutchison, Betty Hale and Linda Roberts.
Sunday evening special singing was by Betty Hale. Pastor Gary Moore brought the evening message about “Lean Not On Your Own Understanding”, using scripture Proverbs 3:5-6.
Special prayer requests go out for the Mark Degase family, the Basil Lakey family, the Harry Sherrill family, the Murrill Culvey family, Nettie Holt, Sister Marie Long, Bill Bolding, Lee Williams, Hugh and Violet Morris, Wayne Applequist, Don Graham, Marvin Graham, Leon Hopper, Kirk and Brenden Hood and Wanda Cox.
Due to the New Year holiday our Ladies Meeting will be the second Saturday in January.
