Wednesday evening Bible study was cancelled due to bad weather.
Sunday morning we had 39 in attendance. Norma Jones opened the service reading Luke 2: 7-14. Linda Roberts taught Sunday school from Jeremiah 32. The Teen class studied about the “Trinity”, using scriptures John 1: 1-2, 14, 3, 32-33; Genesis 1:1; Matthew 3: 13-17, putting Jesus, Holy Spirit and God all three present at the same time.
Special singing was by Betty Hale, Don Graham and Linda Roberts.
Pastor Gary brought the morning message about “A Time of Miracles” using scriptures Luke 1: 26- 41 and Matthew 1: 19-21.
After the morning worship we had our Christmas dinner, then at 3:00 was our Christmas Program “The Birthday Party.”
Sunday evening we had our third Sunday singing.
Anniversary this week was Frank and Frances Aid. Birthday this week was Don Nash.
Monday night, Sis. Bevy Moore’s Grandpa, Lee Williams, had to be rushed to the hospital and Tuesday morning had to have heart surgery.
Tues. Pastor Gary and Bevy Moore had Christmas dinner with the Pastor’s Mom, Wanda Moore, at the nursing home.
Visiting in the home of Pastor Gary and Bevy Moore Tuesday afternoon were Pat and Cindy Bryan. They had a good Christmas visit.
Special prayer requests go out for Mike Hampton, Lee Williams, Loretta Ellis, Bill Bolding, Jimmy Lee, Kenneth Lee, Wanda Cox, Angie Wilkerson, Max Roberts, Leon Hopper, Chester Riley and Bobbie Sue Herrell.
