This Monday afternoon the snow is slowly falling. We can get from one to three inches by morning and colder the next few days. It could be a lot worse.
It was cold when going to church Sunday, but all was there for Pastor Don’s sermon on Fit For Life. This series of messages will challenge us to examine our lives as we enter 2011.
On January 3, 2011, Oscar and Gladys Cunningham celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Gladys’s niece, Ronnie and Carol came from Mountain View and they all ate out. While there, Oscar fell and broke a small bone in his foot. He is much better at this time.
Last Thursday afternoon Marise was visiting at St. John’s Hospital with Cindy Fitzgerald of Ava, also she enjoyed a nice visit with Lorene Maloney and Debbi Chance. It is always good for both of us while working there to get to visit with folks from Ava. Marise worked at the front desk Thursday morning and Virginia worked at the gift shop Tuesday morning and Sunday afternoon. Tuesday, Virginia visited with Cindy, Lorene and Debbi at St. John’s.
My faith is that God’s way is the best way.
