The Christmas Eve Service will be on Friday, December 24 at 6 p.m. at Seminole. Come and join us as we celebrate the life of Jesus Christ. There will be one service on Sunday, December 26 at 10 a.m. There will be no Sunday school or evening service.
Pastor Don’s message was from Isaiah 9:6, “Eternal Father,” Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God, Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, His love never ends.
Saturday night at Lakeshore Apts. Clubhouse was our Sunday school class Christmas Party. It was another good time had by all with Christmas dinner and white elephant gift.
It was a happy meeting at Smith Glenn Clinic Wednesday morning. I was leaving and there was C.M. and Nadine Lestinger arriving. We enjoyed the short visit and it was good to see them again.
Thursday this past week Sandy Applegate and Virginia visited with Betty Chapman at St. John’s Hospital. Betty was looking and feeling much better and looking towards going home soon.
Marise and Virginia was at Cox South Saturday morning to visit with Bonita Stafford. She is much better since her surgery. We enjoyed our visit with her and plan to see her again soon. We also visited there with Danny Jenkins of Macomb. Danny went home Sunday.
Dave and Cathy were in Springfield shopping Sunday afternoon. They came by and took me out to dinner.
I have recently read a book, Heaven Is For Real. This book will forever change the way you think of eternity, offering the chance to see and believe like a child.
