Breedon News – wk. 14

Well, Christmas is over, which is kind of sad, all the hoop and holler and excitement is over for this year.
We at Breedon had a wonderful Christmas. The economy affected us some, but the Lord always provides.
Not many came out Sunday for church and Sunday school. Some of our members had to work and some of them are still fighting colds and flus.
Joe opened Sunday school by reading the third chapter of Psalms.
Lee Hampton led the opening prayer. Lee taught the 2nd chapter of Mark, about a man that was paralyzed. Jesus healed him and immediately he got up and walked. When Jesus does a work, its done right and wonderful.
Wilma Hampton had to work, so we didn’t have questions and answers. We will have them when more people are there, so more can look them up.
We had congregational singing. Sue Sisco finally got all her frozen pipes thawed out. The Ronnie Thomas family didn’t get to attend. Rhoda is still about the same.
We (The Lafferty Family) had Christmas at Breedon Church Saturday. A lot of our grandkids and our children got to attend. We always have lots of fun and food. Everybody helped clean up the church before going home. Joe is feeling stronger everyday. The Lord has blessed us so much. We thank the Lord so much for his many blessings.
Joe Lafferty dismissed our service in prayer. Maybe next Sunday everyone will be over their illnesses and are able to be with us. We always miss them all when they can’t attend.
May God bless everyone and have a Happy New Year.
We cancelled Sunday night service.
