Our attendance was better today. We still have some out sick. The virus seems to go from one to the other.
Our visitors were Ellis and Roseann Carpenter. Ellis led in prayer before the lesson.
Lee Hampton taught our lesson in Mark, the fourth chapter. Parable of the mustard seed, and Jesus stills the storm.
After our lesson Roy Hampton read the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy then we sang happy birthday to some that had birthdays later in this month.
Joe Lafferty led the offering prayer. We had congregational singing.
Sue Thomas and Susie Sisco sang and then Joe Lafferty, Clara Lafferty and Susie Sisco also sang.
Bro. Ellis Carpenter preached the 11 0’clock message in Matthew, chapter 18 on being humble as a child and the lost sheep. For the Son of Man is come to save that which was lost. Bro. Roy Hampton dismissed us in prayer after the invitational songs were sung.
Evening service started with congregational singing. Sue Sisco sang. Bro. Roy Hampton preached on Matthew 24:7. Brandon Hampton dismissed in prayer.
Don’t forget our Friday night singing at 7 p.m. Hopefully our throats will clear up by then.
Until next week.
