There was not many in attendance at Breedon. We have lots of people who are sick including this writer. A lot of viruses still affecting lots of people.
Lee Hampton taught our lesson in the third chapter of St. Mark, where Jesus heals the withered hand. It sure is wonderful we have a Lord that can heal our bodies; we are so blessed as Christian people.
We had prayer for Clara Lafferty, Wilma Hampton and Josephine Peebles. Bible says pray for the sick.
Opening songs, opening prayer and offering prayer were given by Sue Sisco. She also did a special.
Joe Lafferty preached the 11:00 service. His text was taken from St. Luke 8:19-39, Jesus calms the sea during a storm and asks where is your faith? We as servants of Christ should ask ourselves where is our faith? Help us to be servants you would have us to be Dear Jesus and not anything of ourselves, and not judge those about us.
Evening service started with congregational singing. Roy Hampton preached the evening service. Lee Hampton dismissed in prayer.
This writer had some kind of virus that affected the muscles and sinuses. I went to the doctor and he gave me some antibiotics. I feel some better, thank the Lord.
Maybe everybody will finally get over all these viruses and get back to whatever is normal.
Not a very good start for the new year. We will have to pray for each other. May God bless everyone until next time.
You are always welcome at Breedon Church.
