“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 was the scripture Pastor David used for God’s message Sunday morning. Have you accepted the gift God sent to us? If you have you are grateful this time of year. If you have not then you are probably miserable and unhappy. God knew we needed a way to be saved from our sins so He sent His most precious gift, His son. All you have to do is accept Him and repent of your sins. It’s not hard and you will be so glad you did.
Brother Roy read Isaiah 63:7-14 for the devotional after we sang. We missed Sister Shirley as she was out of town. Brother Kerry filled in and we were glad to have Sister Betty back also.
Kerry took up the offering and tithes and Hunter and Jackie did the penny march for Camp Piland.
Hunter and Pastor David did the specials.
On Sunday evening we worshipped in song. Those doing specials were Kerry and Dana Lafferty, Pastor David, Brother Rick Bailey, Jacki Lafferty, Theta Porter and Larry and Karan Vinson.
We were so thankful for our visitors and for the sweet spirit that was present.
