The new year has begun with cold, but sunny weather today. We are thankful there is no snow or ice. The holiday season was wonderful, but the quiet of January has its good points. Time to think about gardening, time to cook all those warm soups and also time to bake.
Last week the holidays were celebrated by a New Years Eve party with snacks, games and movies. Several of the residents stayed up to see the New Year arrive.
During the week the Hospice Compassus volunteers Virginia and Margaret played Bingo with the residents. Our residents always enjoy the company and the game.
On Friday the Old Time Family Gospel group with Nola Jean entertained the residents. All the residents really enjoy music and would like to have them back often.
We look forward to the new year ahead. We wish everyone a healthy and happy new year.
