It has been very, very, cold and windy the last few days. Residents do very little activity outside and porch sitting is over with weather like this weekend. It is nice and warm inside so activities are done inside. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available to warm the spirit. Christmas cookies, cakes and other goodies are always enjoyed on cold winter days.
We are getting ready for Christmas. Gifts are being wrapped and we appreciate the church and community support of us at Christmas. It makes the holiday season special for our residents and staff. We are reminded of the reason for the season and we experience the love and joy from those around us. We are truly blessed. There are so many groups that come here to do caroling and help make the Christmas season special for our residents. We appreciate everyone.
We are doing our luncheon on Christmas Eve day and gifts will be opened on Christmas morning. Our staff is looking forward to the celebration. As we celebrate the Christmas season we wish everyone joy and peace. Have a wonderful holiday season.
