The Ava High School class of 1981 30-year reunion will be this year. Some of the classmates got together New Year's Eve to kick off the year at Moose Allen's Archery. A nice meal of pulled pork and baked beans fixed by their very own Leslie Martin and side dishes brought by others was served. A video of senior year football highlights and a video of pictures from elementary through past reunions was shown. Retired coach Larry Silvey stopped by to visit. Classmates enjoyed catching up on the last few years and a few even made it to midnight for dessert and a toast to the new year. Several events are being planned for this year.
