Margaret F. Scott, 84 years, 4 months, and 20 days old, passed away on Dec. 23, 2010 at Rocky Ridge Manor, Mansfield, Mo.
Margaret was born Aug. 3, 1926 in Mtn. Grove, Mo., to Solomon and Flossie (Warren) Yocum.
In 1944 Margaret and Francis J. “Bill” Scott were united in marriage in Mtn. Grove, Mo., and to this union six children were born.
Margaret was born in Mtn. Grove area and lived there till 1955. She was a retired baker. She enjoyed canning, cooking, baking, gardening, working in the yard and was a big Atlanta Braves fan!
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis J. “Bill”; two daughters, Frances and Elizabeth Pauline; one brother, Ben; and one great-grandson, Scott Andresen.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Patsy Shafer and husband, Clifford, and Mary Ann Boyer and husband, Bill, all of Ava, Mo.; two sons, William and Bobbie Dale Scott, both of Ava, Mo.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, J.N. Yocum and Mary, Ava, Mo.; and many other relatives and friends.
Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo.
