This week we had seventeen people weigh in, with a total weight-loss of twenty-seven and 3/4 lbs. One person stayed the same weight. Billy and Shirley were high-losers.
We are pleased to welcome Bonnie as a new member to our Ava T.O.P.S. chapter. She transferred from a T.O.P.S. chapter in Cameron, Missouri.
Rachel’s name was drawn from those losing weight after the Thanksgiving holiday and she received a charm. Delores’ name was drawn to receive free dues for the month of December. Rachel received a charm for walking 100 miles. Billy received $10.00 for being high-loser for the month of November. Congratulations to these folks!
Hulda presented the program with an article from the “Springfield Newsleader” entitled, “Weight Watchers Replaces Points Plan”.
T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is an international weight-loss support group open to anyone seven years of age or older. The #0720 chapter meets every Tuesday afternoon in the courthouse basement. Weigh-in is held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.. Come visit us and sit in on a meeting if you would like to find out more about T.O.P.S.. We welcome anyone looking to get and stay healthy.
