Red Bud Village News

A good Tuesday morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday and I bet the turkey wasn’t the only one who got stuffed.
We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals, and the nursing homes. We hope your road to recovery is real soon.
Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.
We send best greetings to all the birthday people. May you have a great day with many more to come.
I say a special happy birthday to Lane Watkins as he is three today and to Tessa Huff as her big day is tomorrow, December 1. I think she will be five.
This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Visitors of Fae were Lois Graham, Evelyn Witchey and her grandson from California, Ryan Duke. Fae had Thanksgiving dinner with Evelyn and Ryan. Larry Hutchinson came and got Fae Saturday evening for Thanksgiving dinner with him and Wanda and family. Fae went to church at Eastern Gate with Larry and Wanda Sunday and Sunday evening. She enjoyed getting to go to church with them again. Wanda brought Fae home after church Sunday evening.
Visiting Norma Jones the past week were Bud, “Arlen”, Jerry Lee, Kim, Derek, Naomi and Jacob Watkins and Derek’s friend, Cody. I, Norma, spent Wednesday night and all day Thursday with Jerry Lee, Kim and Derek Watkins, We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner along with a lot of visiting and laughter. What a time we had with Jerry Lee’s new recipe. I think we wore more flour than we ate. Just kidding. Peggy Greene and Naomi Watkins joined the group after a day of work. A great time was had by all and what about the snow that fell for a little while? West Dogwood got a lot more than we did. Snow was still on the ground in places on Saturday.
Norma spent Friday night and Saturday at the farm with the girls and Jacob. Naomi brought me home Saturday night.
No other news turned in but I am sure there were many families getting together and I hope they enjoyed their being together as much as I did. We have so much to be thankful for – family, friends, food, a place to live and the list goes on and on. Just take time to see what you are thankful for and remember Jesus loves you.
Have a great upcoming holiday and remember Jesus is the reason for the season.
